The story of a photographer
Hi, my name is Haley Champagne! For as long as I can remember I have had a passion for pictures. It started when I was a little girl, my mom would buy me some sticky tack and I would tack pictures in a collage on my wall. Fast forward to senior year of high school, we were assigned a project to take pictures of the same shape but with different objects. A few weeks after turning in the project and my teacher pulled me aside after class. She wanted to know what website I printed the pictures off of because she thought they came out so good, HAHA! Of course, I explained to her that I took the pictures on my phone and where the pictures were taken at. This had me thinking about how much I truly enjoyed taking pictures and capturing the beauty of something. This was the first time I remember thinking that maybe I had a calling to be a photographer one day.
In the year of 2020, I finally decided to take the chance! My husband surprised me with a camera that I had dreamed about having since I was a little girl. I would take pictures of my families, always saying that "one day" I would put myself out there. Finally, my niece convinced me to take the chance and just do it! Fun fact, my niece's name is Jade and that is where the Jade part of Haley.Jade Photography comes into play!
Since starting photography I have loved every moment of it. I still can't believe that I am really living my dream! I love being able to make people feel beautiful and capture precious moments that will truly last a lifetime. Pictures are stories that you can revisit and even share with your future kids, grandkids, and friends one day.
